We have been so selfish!! Living in our comfort zones, blind to the realities that torment the lives of millions of people. Millions of people around the world who are dying each day because we have turned our backs on them, blinded by our selfishness. Millions of innocent children emotionally broken, physically abused, and have died violent deaths because they did not have the opportunity to feel love, or experience the stability of a family, a home, or a caring society. Children whom we were unable of reach in time to protect them from sexual exploitation, too late to prevent their deaths. We failed them because of our selfishness!

But it's not too late to step out of your comfort zone and stand up for the rights of these children. See past their tears, and look into their little eyes. The window to their soul. Journey through the chambers of their heart. Witness the open emotional wounds. Listen to the stories of their scars. Remove the inner baggage, and open the door that has been locked for so long. Behold the light that has been waiting to shine. Take a moment to reflect upon these children and think of all they could have given to humankind had we shared our love and blessings with them.
